In my current quest tohelp you with your video game buying decisions, and beating the games I convince you to buy, I will be posting advice on multiple games. Here's the first part.
Lego Star Wars Character reviews:
Alright. Here are reviews on various characters for this game.
Qui-Gon-Jinn:
What can I say? He's like most Jedi; he can use the force, fights with a lightsaber, but he does have a convenient ability. The 'Jedi Mind Trick' allows you to sneak past large groups of enemies unnoticed, or you you fight them. Useful when you have low health. However, it greatly reduces your speed. Rating: 8/10. An average character with a useful ability. This becomes almost useless for more experienced players. Free-Play Cost: 250 Lego studs. A nice character to have if you need a simple character to start with.
Secret Character: Geonosian
Only found using a cheat code, (which I will post at a later time) this alien, seen in Episode 2, has no special ability, and his jumping leaves something to be desired. It has average speed. However, the laser this character has does a lot of damage. Overall rating: 7/10 stars. This character doesn't need to be purchased, and can be used at any time. A nice thing to have when you need a free laser.
Hi. For this blog's first video game review, we'll be looking at
Lego Star Wars. Originally, I purchased this game for its "Over 15 unlockable characters" Sadly, the game's story mode is too short to have a good rating in the 'length of playing time' department. It does have decent replay value, as I have found myself going through old stages with new characters in 'free-play mode', which is the current subject. The game's free play mode allows you to pass through old stages, but with a new character in your party. This allows you to access new things, such as powerups. Anyhow, I give this game... 7 1/2, or 8 stars. If you have any video game walkthroughs, reviews and the like, send them in! I'll make sure to give you credit.
Not much to say. Just another Final Fantasy comic, as usual. If you guys have any requests that are good, I might use 'em.
